Uniframe-05-01/UV single-frame camera


Appointment:

The camera is intended for registration of images of fast running processes in a UV, visible and near infra-red spectral range and measurements of their spatially-temporal parameters in single-frame mode of recorded imageRecord of the image from the image converter tube (ICT) screen is made by means of CCD readout unit with image input in the personal computer. Software provides the user with wide possibilities of processing the recorded image.

Article [48] in "Publication" section is devoted application of this camera. The subjects of single-frame cameras are reflected in articles [1, 5. 6, 15-18, 20-23, 26, 33, 58- 60].

Possible fields of application: 
  • ballistics researches;
  • researches of detonation, explosion and burning;
  • shock waves physics;
  • laser physics;
  • nonlinear optics;
  • nonstationary spectroscopy;
  • nuclear physics;
  • plasma physics including thermonuclear synthesis;
  • electrical breakdowns and discharges including lightning;
  • ecology (a register in LIDAR systems for detection and determination of air or water pollution’s  location, size and chemical composition), etc.
The main components of the camera: 
  • - input objective (a set of the objectives is available);
  • - proximity ICT with S-25 photocathode applied on a uviol glass plate, one microchannel plate (MCP) and               phosphor screen applied on a fiber-optic disk;
  • - power supply unit;
  • - control unit with a generator of nano-microsecond blanking pulses;
  • RU-05M CCD readout system (1392x1032 pixels, 12-digit ADC, linear dynamic range ≥ 300) with an electrical (≤ 5 m)     or fiber-optic (≤ 500 m) communicational line with the computer;
  • - notebook with installed software;
  • - frame test-object for control of a spatial resolution;
  • - neutral filter of 0.5, 1 and 2 density set on the input objective or its site;
  • - holding plate for mechanical fixation of the camera on a work site.
Supply of the Uniframe 05-02/UV camera with an additional MCP brightness amplifier provided hight sensitivity up to a phonons count mode of the camera is possible.
